Fish Eaters is a Snap! collab being discussed on this forum topic. It is not done yet, the latest builds are in this collection at this link. The forum topic is expanding at a comparatively small rate(on the low side on the spectrum)[1]. The project has used a tool called Smerge for version control. It is considered to be nearing the public beta[2], so a couple more projects may be published under "BETA". It is in public beta right now. The public beta of the game is located at this link, made by sir_kitten2. The Fish Eaters game is currently owned by spacer.[3] Fish Eaters is the first known game to have an “safe chat”, in which there are pre-made phrases to chat with.

Controversy

The controversy of this collab is very much, the "dark era" of it lasted for one month, the controversy is categorized by mass recalls of comments and replies, and sometimes being ghosted.[4]

  1. This is a slow topic, it takes about a week for a 100 replies when the wiki page was last updated.(1 part), at the high end of collabs, there were 1 part per day, there was one recorded instance(this collab was Funnybol), that had nearly a part per 15 minutes. all the data and times were self recorded by @PokemonKid.
  2. The collection public page description publicly shows in the description that there will be a public beta in one month.
  3. The person who made the original topic is spacer, shown here.
  4. This is the creator, spacer trying to figure out why people are ghosting them : https://forum.snap.berkeley.edu/t/fish-eaters-part-3/6691/33
